Oh, darling. You're going to regret asking me that :D They're from Torchwood! Have you heard of it? If not, I appoint myself your official guide of all things Torchwood.
Here's a post I did about them. If you need any more links, fic, fanmixes, episodes, I'm here :D
Draco and Harry are hot together. I love the whole love/hate :D
And I love what you wrote about Jack and Ianto. The snippet you wrote up about when Ianto tells Jack he never cares about his personal life - I so felt that that's what Jack did in this new ep where he asks him how he is. I found it so sweet. I really like how their relationship will probably develop a lot this season. I hope to see some tender kisses between the two. I sort of imagine Jack not being rough with Ianto at all, but being gentle. Because he cares. (Don't mean to say you don't care if you're rough, just that it seems fitting here.)
They are delightful. I need to resurrect the Draco/Harry love. Think of all those un-ficced rooms in Malfoy Manor, just waiting to be debauched.
YES. That's exactly it! I'm so happy you picked up on that because I did too. It's like Jack was purposefully saying "I listened and I learned." And I read an interview with Russell T Davis saying about how much subtext was in that scene. I think he was referring exactly to what you've just said. He said he was impressed how John underacted the scene, to show how Jack really thought about Ianto. EEE. I love our boys!! <3
Too right! I need to read some H/D again! Haven't in ages!
Exactly! That's what I was thinking too! And John did a terrific job and it was just so sweet! Like you said, he listened and learned. And he know what Ianto wants now and he wants to give it too him ♥
I saw "Charles/Sebastian" in your tags and started freaking out. I love the miniseries! However, I had never read the book until just today! I'm taking a Contemporary British Lit class, and I was so excited when I saw it on the book list. Funny coincidence you had this here today. So far I'm loving the book... especially since I can hear Jeremy Irons' voice reading it. :)
Oh isn't it amazing? You are so lucky to be doing the novel in your class. I got the colour purple and to kill a mockingbird. I'd prefer our two lovely English lads.
You should listen to the audio book. It's narrated by Jeremy Irons and unabridged :D I swear that man's voice should be illegal in decent company. <3
