I downloaded and played with this on my iPad, and I think it is a wonderful app.
The graphic novel area is my favorite just because it looks so stunning on the iPad. I really appreciate the Read Along feature too.
The extras in the Seaborn Notes section are where I went next. I love getting behind the scenes looks at world building. It is very cool to see the different armors and the drawing and writings from Michael Henderson.
In the read Seaborn area, I have to confess that it took me a minute to realize you could actually read the book. I thought it was strictly a link to buy in, but then noticed the buttons at the bottom. This is mostly due to my lack of iPad-fu and not your layout though. ;) It is incredibly awesome that you have included the whole book AND even some audio.
Of course, I'm going into this already a bit familiar with your work and world. I think there is a different value (not necessarily more) for an app like this for someone who is just dipping their toes in. :D
I'm so glad you like it! I've been working on this for a while, never enough time to do everything I want. I really rushed it in.
My first update just went into the app store, mostly text corrections--some crazy ones. I really like the way Saltwater Witch came out. The other sections aren't much more than placeholders with a bit of content now, but I have plans for them! I'm thinking this is the kind of platform a lot of authors and artists could use effectively.
I'm working on some cooler stuff that will get into the app at some point. Also working on a Saltwater Witch iPhone app. Even with 4 million iPads out there, it's just not going compete with the 85 million iPhones and iPod Touches.
You wouldn't happen to feel like posting a review in iTunes would you? Nudge, nudge.

There are 4 million iPads already. Wow.

>4 million iPads...
I know, and now they're selling them at Target, so expecting that to double shortly.
Now, I just need to get the iPhone version submitted.
