Marie was shocked when she walked into the bakery and saw that it was relatively busy. Go figure that River's baking would draw people out of their houses in this weather. She looked around, trying to spot her boss so she could figure out what she was supposed to do.

River spotted Marie as she came in, smiling to the old couple he had been helping pick out a cake and excusing himself to walk over to her. "Miss Marie," River greeted happily. "You're right on time as always." He took her by the arm and lead her behind the counter. "Would you mind picking up any other customers? The Smiths are looking to buy a Valentines day cake." River smiled at the couple and then back to Marie. "We're busy," he whispered excitedly.
