The concert had been a blasting success, the fans were delirious and satisfied, if not wanting more. Although most of their focus were usually on the lead singer, and perhaps the other guitarist, rather than on him, the bassist. But Nikita didn't mind not being in the spotlight, preferring to contribute in other ways possible, and leave it all to

And standing there behind him with her usual teasing grin is none other than the band's lead singer herself, Julia. Or Julchen, as the fans fondly call her. She looks as tired as he does, but probably just as happy. It's clear in the smile clear in her violet eyes as she looks up at him and how wide that grin is on her face. Her long, silver hair is a bit of mess from her tossing it about onstage and from the quick towel wipe she did before meeting the fans backstage. The make up on her face still holds, smoky eyes and pink lips. And she's still wearing that corset from onstage. That one that appeared from under her loose overshirt for their last number, Wenn ich ein Junge wär. She's covered up with one of her favorite leather jackets but it's still there, hugging her slender but slightly curvy frame ( ... )

"Do you have something to say to them?" She asks him, ignoring the crowd who is just getting worked up with how close she is to him. Not quite close enough to be scandalous but for the fans, it could actually "mean something."

He shook his head at her question, unable to find the voice in himself to say anything else. Right this moment, he wished everything would be settled as soon as possible, then bury his head somewhere deep under the pillows of his hotel room. Beside him, Francis was giving him funny looks, and he kicked the older man's shin in annoyance.
Their manager was already shaking his head at this whole fiasco, already glaring holes into the back of their heads, as if to say We will have a word about this later. Nikita could only sigh deeply and put on his pokerface once more.

The fans, though were mostly not buying her words when they saw that. Yet they weren't sure either, so it worked out just fine, to keep them in a limbo and grey areas of uncertainties. He wanted to lean over and as What was that about? but refrained himself, lest he sent out the wrong signal again ( ... )

Antonio notices them but decides to let it go for now, though he does smile at Nikita a little, amused at how things are progressing and how cute it all is.

But it was slightly different this time, especially more so when Antonio threw him an amused smile. Sometimes, he wondered if it was all a ploy to garner more interests from the fans, which was already working like magic. On the other hand, he suspected that both Antonio and Francis knew of his feelings for Julia, though none of them confirmed his suspicions.
The ride back was smooth, without any further hitches, and soon they reached their hotel. He shifted slightly and shook Julia's shoulder with his free hand, indicating their arrival. He knew she was a light sleeper, so it shouldn't be hard to rouse her awake.

"...Hi." She manages after a while and just continues on staring at him a little. She still hasn't moved away from him.

He quickly snapped out of his staring and jerked his head in the direction of the opened limousine door. "We have arrived." The taller man stepped out and held a hand out to her, earning a wolf whistle from Francis when he walked past. Nikita decided to ignore him and wait for her instead.

Julia looks up at Nikita. "What time is it?" She's still holding his hand.

He wouldn't let go until he was certain she was properly awake. "Should sleep early tonight."

"I want hot chocolate." She murmurs randomly before gently tugging at Nikita's hand to steer him forward towards the hotel doors. "What about you?"

After a few seconds, he belated added: "With vodka."
That was something he couldn't live without, much like Julia and her beer. He half wondered if it would even taste good, but didn't care as they both strolled into the lobby. Now, do they want to head for the cafe, or perhaps have it brought to their room?

Julia sighs as she leans back against the elevator's mirrored walls, looking forward at their reflections. She's holding his hand and at that moment, with it just the two of them, she finds that she isn't embarrassed. It just seems... Natural. Carefully, a bit tentatively, she shifts her hold on his hand just a little but doesn't let go. She waits for what he will do.

It wasn't until they entered the elevator when he realised that their hands were still linked together, the mirror image in front reflecting it clearly before him. The journey up the floor passed in comfortable silence, and when he felt Julia's fingers move against his, Nikita slowly but surely did the same.
By the time the door dinged open, his fingers were already nicely entwined with hers, and he even had the audacity to bring her hand up to his lips for a kiss before tugging her out of the elevator. Whatever his feelings were for her, it was all in that brush of lips on her skin.

The feeling of his lips, cool and dry, against her skin sends a pleasant shiver to dance all across her body, leaving her with a tingle that she felt most prominently on her cheeks and the spot on her hand that he kissed. She knows she must be blushing again but then she hardly cared as they walked down the hallway together. Her gaze is fixed on him, unable to look away as she lets him lead her away. Even as thoughts and questions run amok in her head, of why's and how's and what's.
He kissed her hand. Does that mean what she thinks it means?
