Riley was very busy at the moment. Lucas was calling and her phone was all the way across the room in her jeans pocket. He called every day in some form; whether it was FaceTime or a standard phone call.
The last couple of weeks she'd been dodging his calls or texting instead. It wasn't that Riley didn't want to talk to him. Every time they spoke it was usually a very Lucas-centric conversation. Riley gave one word answers or simple sentences just to show she was listening. When she was finally able to get a word in, whatever she was trying to say would get stuck and she couldn't bring herself to say the words “I think we should break up”.
The reason Riley couldn't get to her phone was on the count of me being between her legs. I, Maya Hart, was currently giving Riley Matthews, my best friend, the best oral she’s ever gotten, or so she says. Truthfully, neither of us could tell what pulled her away from Lucas and towards me… besides the sex.
