[Since Lirael has been avoiding the computer-- and, in fact, avoiding people in general since the last time she left the house-- her visitor is in person. It startles her awake, in fact, as she'd been dozing in a chair near the computer. It's been harder and harder to sleep for any length of time, the past couple days, and she's been snatching it as she can.
As soon as the message is written, she's actually, finally gotten ahold of a bell-- Kibeth, the bell for movement, that might force a march or a disappearance or just a simple dance-- and rung it in a quick figure eight, forcing the sound at the girl with what willpower she has left after the past few, awful days.
