There was a reason the direwolf was the sigil of House Stark: sheer stubbornness. Jon had run across that many times before now, certainly, but it was never quite so evident as when Ghost had managed to streak his fur with dirt and leaves and bits of gore from some kill in the jungle (monkey, Jon suspected, not that he'd ever seen one outside of a book) and Jon had taken upon himself to try and clean him.

"It would have been better if you'd been black like Nymeria, you know," Jon muttered, cursing lightly under his breath as Ghost ducked under the waterfall and well out of reach. Nothing for it but to go after him, Jon supposed, and he stripped out of his sodden clothes to swim after the beast against his better judgment. Ghost wasn't likely to bite him, no, but he could get...testy and Jon would rather not test his ire. At least if he swam around long enough, the worst of the grime should come out of his fur.

"Running away doesn't mean I'm going to give up," Jon called across to Ghost, who'd managed to get back up on a rock and shake out his fur. Jon took that moment to duck beneath the water and dart across, catching Ghost by the ruff and scrubbing a good bit of soap into his fur before the wolf got away again and skirted around the pools beneath the waterfall.

"Fine. Gloat about winning. I can be patient," Jon said finally, shifting to float on his back. "It's not like you won't come back eventually."

[He's at the big waterfall and Ghost is playing keep away somewhere nearby. Open until Friday Holy crap, people! No more tags unless you've talked to me ♥.]
