A Broken Rose

What: Rose deals with having her fears confirmed.
When Rose finally found herself back in her hotel room, she tore it apart completely. Comforter and sheets pulled from the bed, desk chair overturned, clothes and hangers piled on the floor, books thrown at the walls and ripped into pieces. There was broken glass in the bathroom from the glass she used to rinse her mouth, pills scattered across the floor. Everything she could destroy and physically exert anger upon was now as devastated as she was.
In the end, when it was over and she was left a crying mess taking shelter in the bathtub (the only safe place left in her room), she had the passing thought that she was supposed to meet Jareth for dinner. Dinner. Eating. Conversation. Could she ever do those things again?
