Housing Options

Instead of having everyone lumped together in one building or even one complex, you can choose from a number of housing situations according to whichever you feel suits your character best.  Treat the journals as part of a social network for people living in this particular corner of New Mexico--in other words, don't feel like you can't interact with characters that don't live in the same area as yours.

  • The Crossroads Motel:   Better known to locals as The Crystal Palace, drug use and prostitution run rampant here.  It's your run-of-the-mill, seedy motel but it's incredibly cheap, residents keep to themselves, and the employees don't ask questions about sketchy behavior.  Both single and double occupancy rooms available.

  • Terrace Apartments:   These are average apartments, offering one or two bedrooms in a three-story building, plus basement.  The basement includes a communal laundry room and work out room, the first floor includes the mail-room, maintenance, and a common area for residents and visitors, and the second and third floors include the apartments, which each have private terraces--the namesake of the complex.

  • Casa Tranquila:   This housing community offers three or four bedroom homes for lease or sale.  It's an upscale, suburban neighborhood with tennis court, basketball court, and communal pool on-site.
