Fight Club

I finally read Fight Club in its original novel form.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I strongly believe that everything Palanhuik spews is complete bullshit. I'm not saying it's not interesting nor fun nor worthwhile, but it is complete bullshit. I've read every single one of his novels except for the most recent one, and I realized after the 3rd book that there's only so much Palanhuik a person *should* read.

I saw the movie once two years after I read the book... I think it's about time I revisit both. I personally like the psychiatric ward ending because I'm sick and like it when everything fails anticlimactically.

Yeah, the only other Palahniuk (I've mastered spelling his name) book that I've read is Choke and it's pretty convincing pseudo-philosophy. After all, all his characters are batshit crazy so I don't think it's probably not wise to take them seriously.

I always thought that Fight Club was a movie/book that seemed really relevant at the time it came out, the kind of thing that you would read/watch/read again and think "this is the moment my life changed." And then nothing changed.
