Just seven months shy of thirty years.
"Hello, Doctor," she says, her voice betraying more emotion than she'd like, unconsciously echoing the tone she knew the Doctor had when he told her about seeing Sarah Jane after she found the TARDIS. So long ago, that was - Sarah Jane could be dead now, she has no idea.
It doesn't matter. All that matters is here and now, after months of trying to track him down, she's found him.

It is Rose. It is, down to the very distinct way she tilts her chin up to look at him, the inflections of her voice, the exact height she comes up to on him...
But it can't be, because he doesn't get days like this. Days where everything goes right, where he really gets everything he wants and there's no lingering doubt, no one sacrifice that's just a bit too much... He used to get days like that.
He's not that sort of a man anymore.
"How did you... What... Rose?"

Except that she'll sort of always be 19 around the Doctor.
"I've been looking for you... about eight months now." Without Jack. Without Mickey. Without Jake or Rhys or Ianto or... oh, even SJ. No one that she'd normally rely on. All on her own, for the honest-to-goodness first time in her life. "In future, try to be easier to find. That's all I'm saying."

Rose, don't mind if you can't breathe now. It's just that the Doctor needs to pounce, and cling, and possibly never let go. Even if it means your face is now buried in his chest and his arms are possibly squeezing the breath out of you.
