Things move in the shadows, skittering away when he approaches, bright eyes reflecting from out of the darkness, but he hasn't been eaten yet, and what Charlie ( Read more... )

NGAH. The imagery alone killed me, but the last paragraph just hurts so much. Oh, Doctor. *scritches*

He wonders if this is what she intended, that he hurt and hurt and hurt and never quite heal, that she never quite leave him, and if that means she won after all.

FLAIL. SO MUCH FLAIL.

Every time I think he's gotten over his Calisto issues, I poke a little at them just to see, and NO. NO HE HAS NOT. One day we're gonna fix that.

I wish there was a way we could... Get rid of the building without screwing up the Rift. It might not help much, but at least the Doctor won't be able to keep going back there.

...Maybe the Rift swallows it one day.

*Snerk* One day the Doctor's just going to walk up to it and go "...Huh. Well then."

*BROKEN* Ow. This was really lovely, as Chris said the imagery on its own is so utterly painful, but the last sentence added in with that imagery literally just hurts the heart. :/

It was really almost poetic in the way that this flowed and the distinct imagery. I loved this piece!

Calisto, of course, is very happy, but I try to shove her far, far away, because being broken-happy is an odd, conflicted way to feel and there is no happiness here.

Thank you! I'm not usually... good with the imagery, so I'm so glad it worked out this time. I wrote this just before falling into bed, so maybe I should write things while trying not to pass out more often!

Oh! And I found a Calisto/Doctor song the other day. Meant to tell you, but I... forgot. It makes me twitch.

I've always thought you were good with imagery. *snugs* This is one of those pieces where it is especially clear how good you are at it. ^^

I want to hear this song. >>

Well, I'm glad you think so. That's reassuring. ♥

*Shiiifty* It's actually a pretty song, my brain just turned it sketchy.
