As much as it probably means nothing coming from me (who obviously has a bf and isn't in a totally new city by myself) I think its a really good idea to focus on you. I know being in the opposite situation sometimes I feel like I could use more me time! Especially considering that school is trying to drive me insane!

Oh yeah, and for the Valentines Day by yourself... buy yourself something nice. Something you've been holding back on getting because of money or whatever. It makes the day a little easier by getting yourself something that makes you happy enough to forget about it.
