Our yard is pretty big, and this year I thought to clean up one of the shady spots; level it a bit and lay some flat stones for the floor, ON MY OWN. No big deal, I wanted to make it nice and cheap ( Read more... )

Much more to do!
My flower garden didn't come out the way I wanted, but it is ok! I'll get there. The waterfalls damb craked right in the middle of our patio project, so we had to rebuild that also, Kevin was crying cutting the dead tree for that waterfall. It was a red oak at least 75 years old, very beautiful; straight all the way up!
It would make some nice boards for furniture...
Oh, not sure if you remember, but we have huge oak right when you start pulling into our driveway, it is half dead :(
And another tree, right between us and the house before us is dead too. We have no idea how to cut it down, it will at least reach our grapes on the way down if not the house.
I hate loosing big trees :(
