Angry had worn off by day three and a half. Spike vaguely remembered a drunken near-groveling on day four, but then hurt and fear of rejection had caught up with anger, and completely overran it. - Poor Spike, he may act tough but inside he's so insecure. He really needs Angel around, he's lost without him.

yeah, I think that Spike is definitely flailing more here than Angel is. but for me that's kind of predictable (well, obviously, since I'm writing it, but err...also, because Angel is more even-keel).

:) I think that what we haven't seen "on camera" so to speak, is that Angel's uncle has had the opportunity to warm up to the idea of the two of them, over the last few months. I think even from his first scene, most of his "I don't want to see it" was knee-jerk bluster. He loves his nephew. yay for that!

lol. I'm sorry I'm breaking your heart sweetie. I told sexymermaid this is my 3-4 chapter "Arc of Crappiness". and honestly? with our boys as stubborn and issue-ridden as they are, I think this was unavoidable.

they'll get back together soonish. at least I update frequently, so a 3-4 chapter arc doesn't last but a week! if I updated once a month, the whole month of july would be shot! :)

Waaah! The boys are fighting, and it was such an awful one at that. Poor things. They're both too stubborn for their own good. And Spike's re-emerging bad habits are very worrying.
