That is soo cool of you! Most people would have just ignored the fact that the bird was obviously not native and just gone about their day. It may actually fly to whoever goes to check it out if it is tame enough, or the owner might be informed and be able to come get it themselves.

I hope everything goes well, but even if it doesn't just remember that that little guy would definitely be hawk kibble if you hadn't have done anything!!
