ok, so I was reading this fic where Jensen can't come. like, he can get hard and fuck like a jackrabbit, it's not erectile dysfunction, but he doesn't always come when he has sex. like he just can't always get there
( Read more... )
wow, dude, your first? so when your second came along, were you all...*blinkblink* something just came out of your penis! :P
I never had to use a condom with my first because he'd had both testicles removed due to cancer, so the first time I had to deal with that was like a culture shock or something.
Well, I lost my virginity at 19 so I knew the mechanics of the act and knew there was *something* wrong with the first guy. By the time the second guy rolled around I was SRSLY looking for validation that it wasn't *ME*.
haha, no I was teasing. I think most people know the mechanics before they have sex now. I was mostly trying to be funny, which I really should do first thing in the morning :)
Erm... well, we had that Thing happen just a couple of days ago. *hopes hubby doesn't read this* I finally got tired (Dude, I was spent! An hour and that's it, my ass can't take anymore!) and dozed off while he kept trying (because not coming is seriously annoying) and it took two vibrators and lots of nipple twisting to finally get him there. Mostly it can happen if you get really close and then kinda miss it, you know? I've had that happen to me too but I'm pretty quick getting it again so... *shrugs*
and yeah, the funny thing is, the author didn't make a big production about it, so I didn't get it at first. plus I was kinda skimming the fic instead of reading because it wasn't that great but I wanted to see where it was going. so then I was all. "wait...did they just say Jensen can't come? *backtracks* what the crap?"
and i don't know, but... i mean, even if it's a Thing, why is it a Thing to Write About?
it's like... if you wrote a story in which spike was dyslexic, or if buffy had spina bifida, or angel was missing all of the fingers on his left hand. these are all Things, but why would someone write a story about them? especially if it's not a major plot point? "ps. xander had a cleft palate, but now he's just got a big scar." like, okay, but... why?
you know? "btw, jensen can't come." i just don't get it.
i know a guy that doesn't come when he gets blowjobs well i should say only has them when one girl in particular does them. It's not that he doesn't enjoy them he does but for some reason no one does it the way he needs to come? If that makes sense? he stays hard, he comes if he has actual intercourse, just not blowjobs.
i've heard of it before so i don't think it's a myth.
and yes, i know way to much about my friends sex lives ;) but you'd expect from me wouldnt' you? :P
yeah it wasn't so much that I thought it was a myth, I just wondered if it was one of those things where the author was trying to put her male character through something she identified with that men don't actually experience. like mpreg with less orgasms. bwah.
I concur: it's a Thing. I've had it happen twice with this one guy, both times he was seriuosly drunk and so was I. Crappy sex, needless to say, but explainable.
Then my ex, the macho guy with the big dick and the enormuous sex drive -he'd get hard as often and as easy as a school boy despite being 37, but he took a lot of effort and stimulation to come most of the time. He wouldn't quit though except once or twice in half a year. It got slightly better once we found a condom that actually fit him, but it does make you question what's up. No doubt because it's never talked about - officially all men want to have sex all the time and always enjoy it so much they have to hold off coming. Wat to create insecurities in both girls and boys... *end babble*
officially all men want to have sex all the time and always enjoy it so much they have to hold off coming yeah I think my brain was playing right into the stereotype when I was trying to make sense of the fic.
yeah, I knew it was possible when drunk, I don't know why I didn't make the connection that it could be a sober dysfunction too *facepalm*

I tried very hard not to develop a complex from that.
