Whenever I consume any form of media, an unsilenceable part of my brain forever documents what I am consuming in terms of what I am obligated to share with the world.

I am of the same behavior, and can only describe it as this:
When I read something that is quite enjoyable to me, or profound, or touching, it is a feeling of joy, and I share information of what I am consuming with others, in the hopes that they too may feel that joy, if they are of such a mind to.
Also, everyone should try everything once. :)
