I am extremely bored and stuck at work.

I'm fast losing interest in American television.  I still watch Lost and Heroes, but my interest is waining in both shows.  The only thing I'm still excited about for next season is Pushing Daisies.  It's so quirky that I really didn't expect it to survive the first season.  Glad I was wrong.

Just finished Cranford this afternoon. I have not cried that much over a show in a very long time. It was so wonderful (the show, not the crying). I really didn't expect that Miss Mattie's brother would show up in the end. The estate manager's story broke my heart. I hate that he had to die in order to make everything right.

I've read North and South and the first part of Cranford. Let me also recommend Wives and Daughters. The size of it is rather intimidating, but it was so good that is didn't take that long.

One word of caution about Wire in the Blood, it contains very graphic violence. I don't usually watch shows like that but the stories are very compelling.

I heard about the American remake of Life on Mars. I have a feeling it will be awful. They would be much better off if they'd just show the original.

Ooh! I hope that rumor is true. I would love to see more about the citizens of Cranford. Judi Dench was incredible. She steals the show in everything she does.

I have watched the first two seasons of MI5. I enjoy watching the show, but sometimes it does get a bit intense. That was a very shocking way to kill off a character. Yikes!
