That's...not good. No offense meant towards your grandmother, but that's just about the worst thing she could have done. It's not healthy to push yourself so hard. Slow and steady practice is best. Over time, you'll be able to exercise for longer and longer periods without passing out or feeling sick.
Come jogging with me tomorrow. Go at your own pace, and if you start to feel sick you can always sit out the rest. No pressure!
Of course you don't have to! It's up to you, but why not give it a try this way? If you don't like it, you can stop, and I won't ask you to do it again. Promise.
Thanks so much for the offer, Libby, but I think I'm going to have to go with the sane reaction and not get up before noon unless shot at. It's summer, and we're at camp, not on the official Bataan Death March Historical Reenactment Squad. Lower your standards.
