Bear Lodge Questions

So I have been asking a number of people about what (in their experiance) works or doesn't work in their local bear lodge. If the person is not a member of a Bear Lodge, I am curious why that person isn't interested in joining currently, and what would they like to see different in order to be a member (what would it take to have one join).

Seriously though, I would join as long as the lodge presented itself as "open" to more than just the unshaved man-pagent types that seem to dominate the bear scene around here. (cough-Dallas-cough)
