II - [Filtered to Ocelot | Unhackable]

I do wonder if our mutual acquaintances are losing their touch - you think they'd would at least be able to keep track of *one* little ship, so that I wouldn't have to book a last-minute, red-eye flight to catch up with it. It's like they aren't even trying any more ( Read more... )

They lost your ship? That's... sad. Do you have any idea what they were doing? In regards to both them and the crew of your ship, of course.

Yes, it is. I believe I'll be skipping out on the opera unless it has an actual plot worth following, but I have to admit, I'd like to see the western.

For a good while, yes. Apparently it went off to some island they hadn't monitored. There was quite the panic at Intelligence, I hear...like there is any time something does not go exactly to their little clockwork plans. I suppose there's some satisfaction in knowing my sacrifice came with the satisfaction of knowing those busybodies were wringing their hands for a while.

Regardless - I am *horrified* by your poor memory, dear Shakalasha. What sort of brother forgets his sibling's favorite play, an epic tale of a man and a woman and the war keeping them apart? Besides, they've long since translated the score into today's speech not that the original isn't ten times as beautiful - you'll be able to follow along ( ... )

It's hard to imagine that there's something they aren't monitoring.

How do you put up with that one? The music's okay, but there's no substance.

...it's part of the charm. You wouldn't understand.

If I have to defuse any of those... tokens, I won't be very amused.

Hah! Nothing is foolproof, my friend, even the information-gathering networks of our benefactors.

I will refrain from commenting on your fondness for selecting the theatrical equivalent of a ham sandwich over a sumptuous banquet. Perhaps your taste will be refined after we've seen both in close succession.

No fuses, then. Where are my remote detonators?

[ooc: strike very, very easy to recover]
