that cutlass again

Been a while. I haven't been working on these much lately, been sketching mostly, trying to not be so picky about how things look and just have fun. But, here's more progress on the cutlass:

Not too skewed. But again, I prefer the more detailed hilt.

Oh, I intend to add the grooves to whatever I use. I just hadn't re-drawn them (the ones I had before just didn't fit when I tilted the hilt more.

I think they look very sharp! But the effect is such I can not tell if this is artwork or a sculpture...

Why, thank-you. That's the kind of effect I'm going for, almost real-looking, but not quite. I think that would match the icons in the official version. Also, it helps to exaggerate some things so they'll show up better in little icons.
