Yeah, I'm in Public Health this semester. My prof was working in hospital administration when AIDS first appeared in NYC and San Francisco. He actually went on rounds to one of the first cases ever documented.

He was very candid about the inital impressions of both the hospital staff, his friends and family, and the general public at the time.

I actually had to get up and leave for a bit, it was so emotional. I can only imagine what a full class on it might be like.
