Uh, so I leave for two days and now people are freaking out about layoffs and LJ "exploding" and needing to back-up LJ posts?! What the hell is going on? I'm so confused lol. What layoffs? Why do we need to back things up? AHH.

Gawker was reporting that 20 out of 28 employees were laid off, but the actual number is more like 12 or 13. I'm more inclined to believe a press release as opposed to Gawker, because Gawker is stupid and blows things out of proportion ( ... )

Ugh. That's ridiculous. You're right, it's much better not to panic, I was just utterly confused to wake up and find my f-list in an uproar. It seems like things are a bit more settled down now, but geesh.

I think people are just being over-dramatic with that LJ thing because some workers were laid off. I hope people are being over-dramatic, at least.

I'm glad you're having a good time but booo for getting sick. I hope you'll feel better soon.
