Ugh, society just makes me sick sometimes. I mean, seriously. SERIOUSLY?

It's so messed up and it's even more sad to me because this probably isn't the only case like this.

At the very least the parents should have been allowed to press the statutory rape charge. After all it's parents who enter that charge and it shouldn't have to be dropped because the girl is no longer living - especially since the boy admitted it happened.

It's not the same and not enough but at least it is something - some consequence for this terrible situation.
