we now interrupt your f-list viewing for a moment of sappy nerdiness.

I know I'm probably in the minority loving the Epilogue and Nineteen Years Later and all that. I know that.

BUT COME ON. Doesn't this video just make you grin like a huge sap?

I love the epilogue too! I mean, I would have liked a little more detail (their jobs, mainly), and some of it was kinda predictable, but I loved it just the same.

And that is an awesome video. And it's made me realize how much I really need to widen my Wizard Wrock horizons.

I would have liked more detail, too, but I was just so pleased Harry got his happy ending that I almost didn't care. Then again, I still want JKR to write like ten more books, so.

It made me realize I need to widen my Wrock horizons, too! I'd never head a Wrock band I really loved, but I like these guys a lot. I listened to quite a few of their songs, and I just like the sound.

I've got three cds from Harry and the Potters, but I listened to them more for humor than the actual music/vocals. I think I listened to a few songs by the Remus Lupins once, and they were pretty good, but it basically stopped there.

I do believe that's why we're LJ friends!

And haha, totally cheesy. It's actually a pretty good song, as far as Wizard Rock goes, though! :D

I think the epilogue was...not that well written, but I have no problem with in theory. I once read a rather brilliant article about how epilogues are nearly impossible to do well that explained why the HP one came under such scrutiny. I wish I could find it....

But!

I can't wait to check out this vid when I get home tonight! Yay!

Lol, no, the epilogue honestly read like cheesy fanfiction: I fully acknowledge that. If you remember where that article is, I'd love to read it! I guess the reason the epilogue didn't bother me so much was because I felt fulfilled. I didn't necessarily need all the nitty-gritty details about everything, even if I would have liked them. I was just so pleased that Harry got his happy ending at last that I didn't mind that it really had very little substance. I still want more information, and I wish JKR would churn out seven more books about...um, everything. Prequels AND sequels.

The video really is cute. Sappy, but incredibly cute. ♥

yeah, i wasn't a huge fan of it. but, i can overlook it because she wrote such a wonderful series. it's hard to tie up a story to make everyone happy. and omg, if they do something like that at the end of DH Part II, i might start balling in the theater. D: it was a very good video though and i love the song!

Exactly! I felt she kind of did the ending for her, in a lot of ways. There wasn't much substance, but it was happy and probably felt like the note she wanted to end on. I just wish she'd write more books! :D

I KNOW. I have a feeling I'll cry at the end of DH II no mater what D:. I love the song, too! It was actually the first Wizard Rock song I really liked.
