I thought I would be feeling more upbeat right now, but for some reason I feel like a blanket of blackness is covering even my happy moments. I'm not depressed, don't worry about that.... I just don't feel like everything is right. I just finished watching the second episode of the new show Jericho, which until last night I was completely

Rob,I know someone else who's often "bored", discontent, DEPRESSED! -Blanket of blackness even in happy moments- DEPRESSION - you don't have to be suicidal to be depressed. Some symptoms are being tired and sleeping lots, no motivation, the blahhs, sometimes anger.... praising God for the good things in our life helps, practising a positive attitude, enjoying the little things...:)

I actually don't think I'm depressed, because you know I've struggled with that before. And sure, I'm upset - even angry - every now and then, probably more than I should be, but really I just find things very unexciting. The kind of feeling that would go away if I could just do something that I want. The blanket of darkness that I feel over everything isn't exactly something I feel in my mind, but almost a physical thing I sense over the world around me. Sort of like how in spiritual warfare you can sense things unseen, though I'm not saying that I'm involved in that, it just feels like that kind of a thing.
That little "the future is tomorrow" rant was a pretty way of saying things are changing for me tomorrow (today), is all. I like to try to be unnessesarilly poetic sometimes. It can be confusing.
