Our response: $220k
three weeks pass with no word about anything

then bank accepts $220k!

Congrats on the house. I'm just beginning to experience all of the joys of homeownership. It's pretty sad when you can walk into Home Depot and the employees recognize you. I think I've already basically signed over my next few paychecks to them.
