Which was why she had a bag full of Play-Doh slung over her shoulder and a grin on her face as she came knocking at Alluka's door.
"Hey! Anybody home?"

She wasn't home--she knew that--but for a moment (or, well, longer than a moment) she'd forgotten that other people could find her.
Getting to her feet, Alluka took her bunny with her to answer the door. She cracked it open and peered out.
"Hi, Mabel," she said, smiling though it felt a little funny to do so.

That was terrible, Mabel. Terrible.
"I come bearing gifts, though! Would you like some company?"

"You were an animal?" she asked, fascinated. "Was it a lot of fun?"
What sort of animal would she be, if she were one?

This seemed like an excellent time to remedy that. Besides, Alluka was usually happy: Maybe she'd cheer him up somehow.
He tapped on her door. "Alluka, are you home?"

And Anders hadn't made her wait nearly as long as Killua did!
This time, she answered the door more quickly, and with a smile. "Anders!" she said. "You're here to see me?"
