When Troy wakes up in Ryan's bed on January 1st, it's with a pounding headache and a decidedly oh shit feeling.
Yesterday was the anniversary of the first time he met Gabriella. He bought a bottle of champagne with his fake ID to celebrate, Ryan tagged along, and somehow they'd ended up drinking together. His memories are fragments: Ryan’s champagne-tasting kiss as he unbuttoned Troy’s shirt, eased off his pants. The warm wetness of Ryan’s mouth later, lower, Troy’s hips bucking involuntarily.
He feels terribly guilty, not so much for making a mistake as for feeling like this wasn’t one.
