Edison was more towards the back of the room, avoiding the veritable mosh pit of reporters in the front. Better angle for his camera. But he still raised a hand for a question, identifying himself. "Mr. Stark...Edison Carter, Network 23." Ignoring the few glares the newspaper people were giving him, they weren't fond of his popularity or his show for exposing the truth.

"Are there any leads as to who might have done the attacking? Anyone taking credit for it? Terrorists perhaps?"

Edison. Tony remembered him rather well. The guy should feel proud of himself. He was enough to make his way into Tony's memories. Reporters didn't often do that. Tony craned his neck a little as if trying to see the man better, even though most everyone was sitting in the floor. "I know I can be a little hard to understand sometimes, with big words like 'still' and 'investigation', but you should try to keep up. Since you obviously missed it, no one's taking credit for it, or else there wouldn't still be an investigation going on. And that part where I said that we still didn't know anything? I can see how you might have trouble with that one."

Edison was glad he came. He wasn't used to interviewees being this....sarcastic. It was refreshing in a way to not have the same humdrum political junk. Smiling back at the barbs thrown his way, he asked, "Are you hoping they'll try again? Whoever they may be..."

Tony Stark was anything but humdrum and he didn't have much interest as far as political BS went. Edison seemed a lot more amicable than most reporters. Most were pretty straight-faced as they spoke. Of course they usually made it a point to laugh when Tony made some kind of amusing remark, or something, but that was because they probably felt like they had to. Interesting guy.

Tony knew what he was about to say wasn't going to be a good idea. Everything told him not to say it. But- "Once I make sure that my daughter's safe, I invite whoever it was who did this, to come back and try again."

His eyebrows shot up at that answer. It took alot to surprise Edison, he'd seen quite alot in his years as a reporter, heard all the pat answers. And that was definitely not a pat answer. "Well, well," he muttered to his camera with a fascinated smile, "we've got a live one here, Theora." His controller, Theora, who was patched in to the live feed sent back some encouraging comments about the ratings they were getting that only Edison could hear.

He missed a chance at the next question, someone from the Sunday Post getting in a question about security at the Stark residence but he cut in after the response to that question with another one of his own. "Is there anything the press can do to help in catching the persons responsible? If and when they strike next?"
