Unfortunately, we had to put Brandy (our doggie of 17 years) down yesterday. About two weeks ago, she had a seizure. Prior to that, she was falling down fairly often (turned out to be arthritis in the hips), but she would get right back up. We brought her to the vet, and the vet said we could safely medicate her, even at her age. They had her on ( Read more... )

Shamefully, I must report that while on unemployment, I had gained back forty pounds. Just by cutting back on eating, I managed to lose twenty of those and fluctuate by five pounds on a regular basis ( Read more... )

I HATE this state. As I'm sure you've all heard, Mass. decided to "reform" health care!! Boy, GOOD idea! All employers have to offer health care to employees. If your not covered by the turn of the year, you have to pay a $250 fine. They didn't really reform healthcare so much as find a way to fiscally rape an already struggling populace.
