LOL, RE: the roleplay thing, I totally get you about the frustration of leaving a thread hanging. I think that's what eventually made me essentially "break up" with it; perhaps because my brain is teaming with intricacies of narratives, connections, and interactions, to have someone break the tapestry all on the mere whim of "I don't feel like it meh", and the fact that it keeps on happening with me, because I write like the Energizer bunny and no one can compete with my monorail of thought XD;; And, eventually, roleplay is limited by its very nature in that you are not exactly free to take with it where your kite flutters; you could in your mind, like I have with "what could have been" with some of other people's characters I've dealt with, where I think, "golly if this happened then they would..." But that character is by rule tied to the other person, and your minds are not linked; the world is but a comment on a page, and just as words themselves are limited, the connection and world building is limited to just what you can
