um...why can't i see the picture on me friends page?? i see it on your page...
by the by, how'd you do up the style...i like it. shweet shweet.
hmmm...anyway, what was his name again? i know who he is but the name...
Hmmm.... you may have found a drawback to my way of posting. Recent browsers let me chose a background image for a table. So the way I create the text on top of the image is to define a table with the exact dimensions of the image. Usually I just make it one cell, though you can make it more in order to more precisely position the text.
Here is the code for this one:
Only the dead have seen the end of war
- Plato
1953-2001 May you rest in peace, Sir.
Here is another post that I used a similar technique. It would be too far back to check on your friends page. The display problem probably has to do with the width of the table not fitting in the alloted space on your friend's page. I am really not sure
( ... )
Don't sweat it. It is brand new today. And though I didn't know it at the time I adopted it, it seems the new style comes from dubious origins. Amid the praise there are allegations of plagiarism and all sorts of skulduggery. Who ever thought style sheets could generate such drama? :-)
