NewYear's Resolution Met!

Today has been an excellent day and though it's far from over I had to post about this now. I planted my cutting of my Dragon Fruit today. It's a variety called Condor and is purple.

That's great you can get the jeep into the garage now and there is still room to move around it. I hope you can find a way to dispose of both those plates and those old tires.

Macatoo looks so cute belted into the passenger seat. I hope you can get a pattern, hopefully without tearing up the other one too bad.

Still no rain yet. It could start at any time. Mom and I went to the mall for some last minute shopping. It wasn't crowded at all which was great.

I'm thrilled about the jeep finally being inside. This is so much better for it. The ultimate goal is to get rid of even more stuff and only have things in plastic bins and plastic shelves. No cardboard or wood. Then I can wash the jeep in the garage and not worry about the stuff around it. Yes it's so easy to walk around all sides of it. I want to put a tennis ball or something so I know where to stop when I go in.

It was so cute having him seat belted in that I had to get a pic of him. I wanted to get the Sahara logo in there too so everyone knew he was in a Jeep. Yeah I feel so bad about opening up the other one. I'd have to save all the beads too so they don't go all over the place.

Wow no rain yet. Looks like its heading that way though. The center is going to curve around Charlotte then head north to New York. Oh I love it when stores are empty. That's cool. Hum, I think I need a hurricane icon. I've needed one for some time now.

Oh, I hope that dragon fruit can grow and you get yummy fruit from it. Even if not, it will be an awesome decorative plant.

And yay for all the progress and getting your Jeep in. Well done! I am thinking about a big clean up, but haven't started yet.

Bummer you still haven't got a pattern for another Macatoo, but cool you found another (rare) one.

I hope so too. I have two of these posts with them growing on it.

I can't believe that's done. Now only the mess in the living room remains. Oh you've got a big clean up too. They're no fun.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I'd get it without destroying the one which I really don't want to do.

I'm not sure if I ant to have a big clean up or not.I have to decided whether I will let go of some things or not. In a prefect world, I wouldn't.

Not sure how you'd do that, either. You could put cloth over, say calico, and draw where the seams are in pencil, and then add extra for the other side of the seams, but it likely would not be accurate.

That's nice that you planted a dragon fruit cutting, from what I looked up they are nice looking and interesting plants. Tis indeed the time to plant in warm soil before the cool fronts start to hit.

I'll have to look at some of the older posts in time but it's great you made some progress on the garage. Cleaning out is a pain but the results are well worth it in the end. Glad the New Year resolution was met.

They get huge and people set them up on these cool trellises. Yeah we still have some warm months before winter. I hope these things will do well for me. I really want to harvest my own fruit.

Yeah you can see how bad it was in the older posts. Now it's just a matter of emptying the living room. I'll be so glad when that's over.
