I had a friend tell me today she was going to wait until I got over my new raging obsession. It wasn't until later and I had already gotten off the computer that I realized that statement made me mad. Oh yes, I've noticed that too. AVP did that. I refuse to buy the 'special edition' since it's not that different from the normal one I have. I'm not falling for that trick. I guess I can wait that way I don't have to buy the movie twice but 30 bucks for one disk? That in itself in infuriating.

OMG, so other companies are doing it too? Seems like it's the threndy thing for them. This is aweful. It's getting as bad as the price of gas.

That comment about getting over your interest in Cars was rude. I don't blame you for being annoyed. I know I would be if someone said something like that to me! You like what you like and what business is it of anyone else's what you're into at the time? It's one thing to miss a friend participating in a fandom you're still into but they aren't, but comments like that aren't the way to express it. *shakes head*

YES!! It's probably my favorite scene from that movie. It's the only original series movie I've seen and I loved the whole thing. Spock cussing was halarious and there was a whale!!

Yeah, but what bugged me was that I didn't react right away. It wasn't after we'd gotten off aim that I realized what had been said. That's exactly what's going on. At this moment I'm just not into the stuff we were doing. And of all things we were working on an RP based on the characters from my universe. Now my own characters I know are one of the few exceptions I'll never get sick of. I love my four bad boys too much, but as of right now they are on the back burner and I don't care. I haven't given them any thought. They will eventually get attention but it will be LATER on MY time table. I don't like being checked up on either. The master does not wish to be disturbed right now hehe ;)

Im obsessed to so I completly understand the feeling...
We finally fixed the problem with my Fiance's PC and we are abole to use both computer to play WoW... no more fights about who's playing and all that!!
My other obsession is Lost and the Lost Experience Summer game, it is awesome all this conspirancy theory madness!!
BTW, your little birdie looks like he is having fun!! ;-)
PS:
I havent watched the movie yet, so I will rent the DVD as soon as it comes out...

Hurray! The computer's fixed! That's great so now you have more time to play and go online huh? That's great. And I'm glad you can related. I know you're into a bunch of stuff too. I know Lost is very popular. I've never watched it thought. Surface came out around that time. Oh I wish they'd continued making that.

Hee hee yes Randy's a happy boy now. He's really such a sweety. He's the only bird I've met that doesn't mind his wing touched and that's really something.

With the price of DVDs renting the movie is what I'd recommend. I know you'll like it when you see it.

I cant forget my HP fanfic obsession and I just cant wait for book 7. Im re-reading all the books now but this time I got Books-on-Cd so I can hear them while I drive to/from work.

I've never listend to an audio book before but yes if you spend a lot of time driving that's good. I feel a little bad for my lack of participation on the Castlehowarts forums, but I just haven't had the drive in me to do anything over there lately.

Yeah, the DVD thing has had me pissed. I'm sure a number of places will sell it for less than $30, but still. The lack of bonus materials is appalling.

Hey, I love Spongebob too. ^_^ I don't know if it was ever an obsession per se, but I watch it ALL the time. :) Anyway...some of my obsessions come and go but a good many never really end. They just might cool off after a while. But I don't want "Cars" to cool off for a looong time!

Yes it's going to be great!! I'm just not looking forward to the crowd on opening weekend. May-be I should wait and go in the afternoon on a week day instead.

Yeah me too. I just wanted my friends on here that have only a passing interest in Cars to know what's going on with that.

I was so obsessed with SpongeBob for like two years. It had a good run with me. I even started a comic book for that too that I never finished. The always come and go too and I always try to hold on but never win. But I do want Cars to last several years with me. So far it feel like it really could. Woo hoo!!
