Can we agree that the question "why are donuts so good?" is silly?

Donuts are good because they are fried cake. It's right there in the name. Fried cake. You can't possibly have a more dense set of fantastic food terms crammed more closely together

Today at work we were going over some findings from an OIG inspection at a facility and one of the items mentioned a mobile deep fat frying. Everyone wondered "What in the world?" And I knew immediately. It was not a puzzle at all: you just never know when you might need to emergently deep fry something, such as a donut, and having it on wheels assures having the ability to do a donut 24/7 and in any location.
