I've played Dark Heresy a half-dozen times and have been running it for the past two weeks, with tomorrow being the next session.

It is dark, dark, fun.

I've gone for a more traditional approach with the team assigned to the area adjoining the Hazeroth Abyss, but when the Acolytes realize that: a) their Inquisitor (unknown at this time) is clearly on the wrong side of an internecene turf war, and b) his goal involves having a team on the ground when the Tyrant Star emerges in a system... it'll be a game-changer.

Yeah, my gang isn't all that familiar with the 40K universe so I thought a more mundane setup would serve to introduce them to the various threats and political struggles. Plus, I was curious how robust the system was for other groups/situations.
