I Have a Job!

You are now reading the blog of a federal employee. I just got a phone call and did the phone interview and I start training on the 27th. I'll be working for the census for a few weeks or months, being an enumerator. I'm very happy about this because a) money, and b) it's kind of a neat opportunity to see how something like the census works.

LOL, ain't that the truth. Luckily, I won't have colleagues, particularly. Instead I get to drive around by myself and interview people who didn't turn in their census form to find out how many people live in their house. :) So I'll get to deal with different crazy people every day!-+
