I should really have left my infrequent updates until now, and not bothered with today's earlier post.

A car has just hit the wall to the side of my house, coming to rest on its side, end on into a gatepost. The driver wasn't injured (no idea how) but the car is wrecked, and so is my wall, garden and early night.

Typical interruptions when you're trying to do your accounts! The only thing that beats this is a story I read of someone trying to work through his lunch hour only to have a cow fall through the roof.

(It's nice to know you - and the driver! - are all right, though.)

Bloody hell! Have you got a photo? I hope you aren't too shaken and the garden - and wall - are salvageable.
