Well, I rather enjoyed myself at Amecon this year. For all it's faults and foibles, it remained a jolly good excuse to drink and be merry with bundles of people whose company I enjoy. As usual, post-con additions to one's friendslist have occurred, now I just need to get around to telling the people who I've added

Both Friday night and Sunday night had too many AMVs featuring Aerosmith/Bon Jovi songs. It got to me, man! :)

While it, and indeed all the other parties, wasn't to my taste (where's the disco featuring a mix of grindcore, hip hop, reggae, bluegrass, psychedelia, & bossa nova? That's right, in my mind!), I thought it did worked as a thing.
