Don't have a copy of the Murphy to spare but I think I have a superfluous copy of Thompson/Martinet "A Practical English Grammar" lying around somewhere.
It's more advanced and OMG so detailed - they tortured me with it at uni for three years - would that be interesting for you?
If so, I'll go look for it this weekend -it's gotta be somewhere! ;)

LOL Thompson/Martinet is standard university material here if you study English. It's got no exercises per se, just the rules and examples, now that I think of it. :-/
