This is a wishlist community, in the same spirit as holiday_wishes. Some rules have been taken from that one and modified for this community.

Wishes

Wishes do not have to be fandom related. You may request anything that you really want. This can mean requesting a new layout for your journal, new icons, a gif of a favorite scene on a video, a fanfic story, postcards from another country, gift cards, magazines, posters, or a Mustang GT. The only requirement is that your request is something you really want.

Wishes are not restricted to Tokio Hotel items only. If you want to request something related to Tokio Hotel, that's absolutely fine, but not required. If you wish to request something related to another band, you're welcome to do that also.

Please limit your wish list to ten items. You may include less, but please do not include more. We do permit the inclusion of one external wishlist as one of the wishes, i.e. "Wish #7: Anything from my Amazon wishlist," but wishlists with multiple links will be rejected and asked to be revised.

PayPal Donations

PayPal buttons and general solicitations for PayPal donations are not allowed. For example, you may not write "I'm broke, send me money," but you may ask for specific help towards buying school textbooks or paying for a pet's surgery.

"Big Ticket" Items

Posting of "big ticket" items such as laptops, televisions, digital cameras, diamond earrings, etc. is entirely within the spirit of this community! Along with this, please do not berate anyone whose wishlist contains such items, calling them "greedy" or saying that they just want to take advantage of the community. Most people include such items not because they expect people to send them such items, but because it is something they "really, truly want." No one is obligated to fill any wish on the list, so there is no reason to disallow a wish simply because it's large or expensive.

Contact Information

You do need to have some way for potential givers to contact you. This can be in the form of your own email address or an email address that you create specifically for this endeavor (gmail/yahoo/hotmail are great for that), or you can have your PM function set so that anyone can PM you. Please DO NOT post home address information in the community. This is a public community, and this is the Internet. We can't ensure that everyone who joins, watches, or just browses this community is a wholesome individual. If you are asking for physical items, you should either a) provide a Post Office Box address privately to your giver when contacted, or b) only provide your address upon request if you are comfortable with this. We are not responsible for any consequences that may result of posting your home address on a public website. If you are not comfortable with giving out your mailing address, you do not have to.

Formatting Posts

We know that some people may want to change the default font of their entries in order to make their entries stand out, be festive or to look pretty. Please don't do this! Many people view this community on their friends pages, and nearly everyone's friends pages have a different layout. If you chose to make your font red, and someone has a red background on their friends page, they won't be able to view your wishlist.

No large images

Please do not post any images larger than 400 pixels in height or width to the community.

You may only post your wishlist once

Let others have a chance, too! If you suspect that someone has double posted their wishlist, please report it to a mod rather than taking it upon yourself to chastise the participant.

It's been requested that participants add what country they are in. This could help givers determine whether they would be able to fulfill certain requests, when considering postage fees. Please remember to tag your posts. This helps people to find your wishlist again if they go back to look for it.

Most of all, please keep this community upbeat and pleasant. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, everyone should be able to find it within themselves to get behind the idea of peace and goodwill toward others, even if only for a few weeks.
