Hi gang!

So, the deadline for the 2011 September FQF was yesterday. We've got 20 fics in the inbox and we're expecting another good handful!

We've bumped up the posting start date to September 20th based on the number of stories we've received. :D That's good news!

PLEASE CHECK IN HERE if you claimed a prompt, and have not submitted your story ( Read more... )

Don't worry about it, don't stress yourself too much, and absolutely do NOT feel bad. You tackled a pretty big prompt, so there's no shame in asking for more time and wanting to take that time to do the story justice. You can have a longer extension if you need one, we have plenty of fic submissions to get started with posting the fest. :)

Deep breaths! Relax! I know you can do it.

Keep working on it! We can give you quite a long extension because we have so much fic in the submission inbox at this time. :) How does until the 26th sound?

You're going to be mad at me, but I'm not going to accept that as your answer when you're in this frame of mind. Keep on working through to the date of the extension that Mel gave you, and talk to us again if you need more time. I know you can do it. You've got a great prompt and we're really excited to see your fill for it.

Don't feel bad about this at all, we've given a number of extensions to people and it's totally fine. It happens. :)
