I deleted it because it was going around in circles. I know it was the chatter post, but it was unnecessary drama and was stated on the second thread, Film Brain is a nice guy and was okay with it. I also know that the fourth wall being completely shattered freaks quite a few people out, but we shouldn't take their enjoyment of us for granted so ( Read more... )

Film Brain said something about a fanfic in a livestream (IDK the specifics, I didn't watch it) that wasn't exactly nice, people got upset, including the author, he apologized, people were still upset at him and were talking about the entire thing in the chatter post, and then the mod felt like she had to delete it.

Should add that that was all I saw in the chatter post before I went to sleep for the night. If things got worse after that, I have no idea, but the discussion actually seemed pretty mild when I logged off for the night.

Yeah, I was just about to say the same thing. I'm wondering what was said to prompt this. I didn't think anyone even seemed that upset. Being the author, I know I wasn't that upset and the only time I mentioned being upset was at the apology. Because I'm a big silly like that :3
