i'm watching it right now, and it's not too bad... it started out pretty badly but it's getting better. i have no idea who jeremy kyle is, but he's handling the situation quite tactfully, i think.
I like Jeremy Kyle. Mainly becuase he doesn't take much crap and he does his best to be fair.
I am watching it at the moment too, and it is coming across a lot better than, say, some of the trans exposure that comes up on Channel 4. He is looking at both sides here, and let's face it- on a confrontational chat show nothing is ever simple, let alone something as complicated as the family dynamics around gender reassignment.
Having said that, I dislike this poor kid's dad a lot. >_>
Just to add, I have now finished watching it and have a lot of mixed feelings about it. It is more fair and more positive than a lot of shows have been, but I very much dissaprove of the 'you're too young to make this decision' argument. That one has never sat right with me, and I do feel that the whole thing is angled far too much towards garnering sympathy for the parents rather than helping Ben.
