I think it would make more sense for you to do it from the perspective of an mtf since you have more relevant experience to that side of things, it would be easier for you to imagine an experience of your life lived in a male body, than trying to create a whole new persona and to put that persona in unfamiliar circumstances. I also think you may have a distorted opinion about the importance of the operation, but i may be wrong. Why do you want to do your project on trans people?

A lot of reasons. I want to raise understanding and awareness. I want a role that will really challenge my acting ability. I'd like to play a male character, but the HSC markers really go hard on you if you try to play someone of the opposite sex - I'm more suited to male characters and I've been told I walk and talk like a man. To name a few.
