So, I know I haven't been online much in, um, well, calendars are just arbitrary markers, right? And I was planning to finally do a post when I caught up on SPN (yes, I am behind. No, I haven't seen 6.15. Yes, I know). But I've recently learned there's an LJ auction going on to raise money to help Japan.
So although for many and obvious reasons I'd rather not have the post that breaks a long silence be "There's a charity auction going on. You should check it out"... There's a charity auction going on. You should check it out.
If, like me, you haven't been able to give the way you'd like, it's an opportunity to be doing something. If you do have some money - there's an awful lot of amazing stuff on offer. There's even a requests post, where you can request something you don't see offered.
The auction is at help_japan. The bidding is currently open; I believe it closes March 26 EDIT: Offering and requesting are now closed, but bidding remains open until March 30/31 (depending on your time zone; check the auction timetable).
