The ringing of the phone cut loudly into the silence of the empty hallway. It vibrated on it's holder a handful of times until a pale skinny pulled it off.

"Hello?" Yoochun said into the white plastic.

"Hello, is this a Mr. Jung Yunho?" A voice asked back, his monotone husk sounding official and dull to Yoochun's ears.

"No," Yoochun shifted the phone to his other ear to face the small table beside the phone. "But I am his roommate Park Yoochun and I would be happy to take a message for him."

The line staled for a second before the voice spoke again. "Park Yoochun?" It asked.

"Yes?" Yoochun's eyebrow raised.

"This is Officer Sung of the Seoul police department. I have some bad news for you about your friend, Kim Jaejoong. There's been a terrible incident."

Yoochun's voice caught in his throat and his mind stuttered with what to say until he finally blurted out the first thing he thought. "What?" He asked. Changmin turned the corner, a bottle of water to his lips, and his eyes looking at Yoochun's shocked face.

"Changmin!" Yoochun turned to his friend, his face red with worry and shock.

"I said Kim Jaejoong has been in a accident-,"

"Where is Jaejoong?"Yoochun demanded.

Changmin hesitated for a second before answering. "He took Vick for a walk." he said.

Yunho's mind felt like it had been hit. "He- he is doing what?"

"He was walking a dog in the underground parking lot of the animal clinic-"

"What was he doing outside! Why did you let him outside?!" Yoochun yelled at Changmin, his eyes huge with disbelief.

"I- I'm-..." Changmin looked at the phone that was shaking against Yoochun's ear. "What happened to him?" He whispered.

"Sir., can you hear me Sir.?" The voice asked.

Yoochun's mouth twitched as he tried to form the words but he was able to say that yes, he was there.

"Sir., just come down to the parking lot of the animal clinic. All the information will be disclosed to you there." Yoochun didn't think as he nodded back to the voice. The man took the silence as his cue to end the conversation. "Okay, have a nice day, Sir." he said then the line went out with a click.

The static was the only sound in the room then. Its soft growling making the boys mind wonder to the sound of tires against pavement and the dark shadow of fear following the mass of metal. Changmin's hand rested with a shiver on Yoochun's shoulder. Yoochun turned to look at his friends worried face and creased brows, the others eyes saying we can't just stand here.

Yoochun muttered that the officer had said to go to the underground parking lot of the clinic that holds their animals, that the information regarding everything was there. Changmin nodded and left to gather Junsu.

Yoochun just realized then that the phone was still to his ear, its soft snow changed to the hissing beep of a disconnected call. He pulled it away from his ear, looking at it for a split second, before setting it back on the holder.

"I'm sorry I couldn't escort you home personally, my darling." The dark, man shaped fog said. His voice was sugary and horrific. "I had some important business I just couldn't miss." The mattress Jaejoong was barely aware his body was on dipped as the man leaned over Jaejoong's form.

"But I'm here now, my precious."

Jaejoong curled his body into a loose ball and turned away from the foggy face above his. "Oh, whats this?" The man laughed as he pulled Jaejoong's face back towards his. "Being shy?"

"Stop," Jaejoong lightly breathed even though he wanted to shout, his brain wasn't listening to him. The drugs had not let go of its grip on his mind yet.

The man's blurry eyes narrowed. "You seem unwell," he hissed, his finger's grip on Jaejoong's chin tightening.

"S- stop," Jaejoong moaned again, using his little bit of strength to try and pull away from the man's grip.

The man felt the resistance Jaejoong was putting up. He snarled and leaned in closer to the halfway unconscious blond. "You seem unwell," he repeated. "I will be back later. Hopefully you will be able to act civilized when I get back." With that he let go of Jaejoong's thin chin, roughly pushing it away so his head fell back limply on the soft silky pillow.

When the door closed behind the man Jaejoong curled his body tighter into a ball. He looked around the golden colored room and gaged on his own saliva. He opened his mouth for anything to come out, but nothing came. He didn't know if it was the drugs, his lack of strength, or his fear, but he was unable to even vomit.

Junsu leaned over and choked up the water he had drank on the car ride there, his hand going up to try and hold the action back. The white liquid seeped around the cracks in his fingers and dripped soundlessly on the ground

Comforting hands trailed up the small boy's back and Junsu looked over his shoulder to see Changmin's worried face. Yoochun stood stock still looking wide-eyed at the barely moving ball of red stained white fur. It's thick chest's light rising and falling the only subtle indication that he was alive at all. The veterinarian wrapped the thick blanket back around the dog and carried him over to the open ambulance then a police officer quickly took his place.

"I'm sorry you had to come down here," he said, eyeing Junsu's shaking form, "but we had to clarify that we had the right information. You understand?"

Changmin released his hold on Junsu's shoulders. "Yes," he nodded. A silence took the crowd then, their minds racing away but to what none could really pinpoint.

Finally the officer cleared his throat and ordered for the boy's attention. "I suppose you were told to come directly here for all information?"

"Yes," Changmin nodded again.

The officer turned to look over his shoulder at the yellow tape and small crowd circling the lead singers abandoned silver car for a second before speaking. "The victim, Kim Jaejoong, was attempting to drive away in his vehicle when a white van pulled behind his car. Two mean, both unidentified as of now, were in the vehicle. One man got out of the van and attempted to drag Mr. Kim back to the van but Mr. Kim's dog, Vick, attacked the man. Then the second man got out of the van, shot the dog and pulled Mr. Kim into the van."

Yoochun turned his head down, Changmin's eyes were caught between narrowing in anger and widening in fear and Junsu's worry flooded into both of them.

The officer softly nodded to himself and kept talking. "I'm sorry but I do have a few questions I would like to ask you." He barely waited for the slightest nod before talking.

"Did Mr. Kim have anything valuable on him that would motivate someone to doing this?"

Yoochun weakly shook his head. Other then the brand name clothes Jaejoong always wore there was nothing of true life-risking value he would take out, let alone to just walk his dog.

"Did Mr. Kim have anyone he was going to meet later on today?"

Yoochun shook his head again. Jaejoong wasn't supposed to be out meeting Vick in the first place so he wasn't going to see someone else.

"Do you know if Mr. Kim has been involved in any illegal gang or other crime circulated activities?"

Yoochun raised his eyebrow before shaking his head this time. Jaejoong in a gang? That was unlikely.

"And lastly," the officer flipped the paper on his clipboard, "did Mr. Kim have any enemies that would of done this?"

This time, Yoochun didn't shake his head. He gulped and looked over at Changmin and Junsu, who just stared back blankly at him. Changmin got his voice back quick, though.

"Well, um...," he stuttered, "yes. The was one guy who di- would do this."

The officer's eyes perked up and he quickly positioned his ballpoint pen above the paper. "Do you have a name, Sir.?" he asked.

"No," Changmin whispered, dampening the spirits of making the officer's job easier. "But I do have some evidence that might tell you his identity."

The officer was shocked as Changmin told him about the consistent letters Jaejoong had been getting in the mail and how the stalker had planed out many ways to do this exact thing. Without hesitation the officer agreed that without a doubt this was the guy who had taken Jaejoong.

"The letters are all back at our apartment. Follow us there and I'll give you each and every one of them." Changmin snarled, his voice boiling with excitement from the thought of the cops getting on the stalkers tail.

"Me and my partner will be right behind you," the officer said before going back to the cluster of officers. Changmin turned to the other two members and sighed out a heavy breath he didn't know he had been holding in. Yoochun looked down at the dirty grey cement  and Junsu just looked away.

"Lets go," Changmin muttered as the officer from earlier waved at them to start going. Changmin lead the others soundlessly to the small white car.

~

The car was silent as it thundered up the narrow way to the apartment parking lot. A thick invisible cloud like aura hung over the world it seemed to the three remaining members. In a span of two days, just 48 hours, two of the forever five had walked out or was ripped out of their arms. It all seemed to surreal to be true, to much like fiction to be reality, but it was and they couldn't do anything to change it. They were as helpless as strangers idly looking at the scene safely behind the yellow police tape. It was shocking, scary, and unbelievable. Something that only happened to someone else.

As the car pulled to a stop in Yoochun's parking space the three mechanically opened the doors and got out. They tried not to look at each other, at least directly, in hopes that if they didn't look at the sadness in the others eyes it might go away, but they caught each others eyes and the sadness was far from gone.

"Mr. Park.," an officer greeted, walking up behind the boys. The eye contact broke in milliseconds and Yoochun muttered a greeting back, waving to indicate that the two officers were to follow him.

The elevator was as thick and worrisome as the car had been. Maybe even more so with the new addition of the two officers. Their indifferent faces of duty making the members a confusing mix of anger and annoyance. It wasn't that they were hopping the two officers to be stricken with grief like they were, but the expressionless almost stone like faces they wore just irritated them.

"This is it," Changmin announced as the elevator beeped and the white doors slid open with a soft hissing sound. The five figures filed out and went directly to the closed apartment door, but Changmin stopped.

There, on the old welcome mat, lay a bright pink package, lined with light blue laced and addressed in a neat girlish scrawl to the leader of Tohoshinki, Jung Yunho.

A/N:Holy cow I am sooo~ sorry this took so freaking long. I don't know why by my writing skills went out like a frickin light after the epilogue of Then there was you. But, at the end there, it came back a little. Kinda.
